1. Overview

This refund policy applies to paid subscriptions to Burin Code Pro, operated by Burin Labs, LLC. The free tier of Burin Code does not involve any charges and is not subject to this policy.

2. Subscription cancellation

You may cancel your Burin Code Pro subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@burincode.com.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
You will continue to have access to Pro features until the end of the period you have already paid for.
No further charges will be made after cancellation.

3. Refund eligibility

We offer refunds in the following circumstances:

Billing errors: If you were charged incorrectly (e.g., duplicate charge, wrong amount), we will issue a full refund for the erroneous charge.
Service unavailability: If Pro features were substantially unavailable for an extended period during your billing cycle, you may request a prorated refund.
First billing cycle: If you are unsatisfied within the first 7 days of your initial Pro subscription, you may request a full refund.

We do not provide partial refunds for unused portions of a billing period after the first 7 days, as cancellation already ensures no future charges.

4. How to request a refund

To request a refund, contact us at support@burincode.com with:

Your account email address
The reason for your refund request
The billing period in question

We aim to respond to refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method and typically appear within 5-10 business days.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this refund policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on burincode.com or within the application. Your continued use of the paid Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
